A lot of personal data is entered and exchanged on a platform like Crowdsite. In this document, we would like to give you a complete overview of all the information we collect.

Crowdsite works through the 'Don’t be evil "principle, which means for us to collect data in order to build a better platform for our users.

Personal data


Crowdsite may process personal data about you, when you use the services of Crowdsite or when you create an account on our website.

Contact form


When you fill in the contact form we will retain the information provided by you.

Your account


We keep information which you enter in your profile, such as name and address, this information can easily been seen and modified through your account, login and you’ll be able to view and edit your information.

We also process data in the background. Such as your IP address, location, and when you last visited our website. We use this information to prevent fraud and make matches for new connections.

Payments


If you earn money through our platform and you cash out, we will ask for information about the withdraw. When money is transferred via a bank transaction we need your bank account number, with PayPal we will need your (PayPal) email address.

We can ask you to create a billing account before you can participate in a project. We do this to make sure that we can actually pay you out, but also to prevent fraud. Example; we can add bank accounts or PayPal addresses to our blacklist.

Crowdsite needs your information to create a better experience on our platform, contact you or receive/ send payments.

How long Crowdsite preserves data


Crowdsite stores your personal data no longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. Your data will not be kept longer than one year if there is no agreement with you.

Cookies, or other techniques that we use


Crowdsite BV uses only technical and functional cookies. Also analytical cookies that do not violate your privacy. A cookie is a small text file on the first visit to this website will be stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical operation of the website and ease of use. They ensure that the website is working properly and, for example remember your preferences. Also we can use this to optimize our website. You can opt out of cookies through your internet browse. You can also delete all information stored using your browser settings.

What we share with others


Crowdsite your personal information only disclosed to third parties if this is necessary for the performance of a contract with you, or to fulfill a legal obligation.

Payment provider


When you pay an invoice we will share some information to our payment provider, like an invoice number, amount, name and email address.

If you have a subscription with us then your credit card or bank details are stored at our payment provider. We will always choose a payment provider that meets our requirements for strong security and privacy. Credit card information is never stored at Crowdsite.

Google analytics


Crowdsite uses Google Analytics to track how users use the site and how effective the Adwords ads are Google search result pages.

The resulting information, including the address of your computer (IP address) is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Read Google's privacy policy for more information.

Google uses this information to track how our website is used to provide reports on the website of Crowdsite and to offer its advertisers about the effectiveness of their campaigns.

Google may also transfer this information to third parties if Google is legally required, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Crowdsite has no influence.

Crowdsite Google has not given permission to use obtained through Analytics information with other Google services.

Financial accounting


For the purpose of the financial administration we will share all financial data with our accounting firm. These will receive all transactions, purchase and sales invoices.

View data, modify or delete


You have the right to have insights into your personal data, modify or delete it. You can always find all the information about you in your profile when you are logged in. Many details are customizable via settings. You can also send a request for inspection, correction or removal to support@crowdsite.com. Crowdsite will process your request as soon as possible, but at least within two months.

Data storage location


We store your data within the European Union. Your personal data is stored at Google Cloud in Belgium. Google Cloud is one of the safest and most advanced hosting providers in the world.

Security


Crowdsite takes the protection of your data seriously we have taken appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted and unauthorized access. The Crowdsite platform uses a reliable SSL Certificate to ensure that your personal data does not fall into the wrong hands.
